deficiencies, hidden autoimmune disorders, or a buildup of toxins we can work together to figure it out.
Unlike other practitioners such as a doctor, or conventional medical provider, when you work with a health coach you receive full support, education, and guidance based on their knowledge and sometimes their own healing journey on what healthy behaviors will benefit your health.
My health coaching practice works around the 5 pillars of health: nutrition which includes a specific diet according to your food sensitivities and proper supplementation based on your goals, exercise and movement, sleep optimization, environmental toxins detox, and the mind-body connection as it relates to stress resilience.
Rest assured, my work follows the Functional Medicine model, which is an individualized, client-centered, science-based approach that empowers you and the practitioner to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness.
1. DISCOVER ROOT CAUSES
For every health concern, there is a root cause behind it. Whether it’s a chronic illness, viruses/fungi/parasites/bacteria overgrowing that can even trigger some autoimmune disorders, or simply your genetic intolerances to certain things. Understanding the root cause is central to resolving our issues. Once the root has been removed, the effects can be addressed accordingly.
3. NUTRITION & SUPPLEMENTATION
A typical American diet can leave big nutritional gaps. Depending on lifestyle, your own body's ability to metabolize certain vitamins and eating habits some nutrients may be lacking from your diet. Although getting nutrients from foods is preferred, there may be times when a supplement is needed. Also, many people are not aware of their food intolerances which can lead to long-term complications and some health damage down the road. So it is very important to adjust your diet and supplementation according to your health condition, intolerances and deficiencies.
2. REMOVE TOXINS
Although you might not know it, there are environmental, household, food and life factors such as heavy metals and toxic mold exposure that can play a big role in health problems. In some cases, prolonged mold exposure can even impact your brain and mental health, cause cellular damage and many other unpleasant symptoms and complications.
